On the last day of grape-picking we all go up to a terrace between the Tsampon rocks, where we pick the golden Johannisberg grapes - grapes that have soaked up the last rays of the autumn sun to give the wine its subtle sweetness. The Finito's beautiful fragrance bears witness the invigorating forces of the rocks.
Artisan Swiss
Pink, onion skin and orange colored all at once. Very complex and interesting nose of marmalade, cider, sour apples, honey and coriander (bretty?). Flavors mirror nose with some curry to boot. Sharp, short finish. I think a success in this style for its fascinating nose.
